Root It's sad to see

I know this has nothing productive twords MT development, but it is sad to see 8 days from the last post.

It's like a high school girlfriend. It had to go, but will be missed.

I stuck around as long as I could, my phone itself is actually in Mint condition still since I even actually still have the factory shipping screen protector on it lol came of a few times but I owned the phone for 3 years and it still got the shipping protector on it lol

But mine started going downhill way to fast, battery first-100% charge wouldn't last 5 hours even with no use of the phone at all, then the charge port went but not like most ppls who had it go out, mine charged 100% fine if the device was powered off, or would charge while it was on as long as the charger was barely plugged in

Then the touchscreen got all crazy, the phone would literally do whatever it wanted, unlock itself, open a text or web page and have 100's of lines of gibberish by time I saw it was happening, and it made typing impossible

Then random no service would happen but the phone would still say I had service only reboot fixed it, so if I forgot to reboot at least once a day the phone would actually not be able to receive calls or texts

All of this happened in less then a month to lol

Then 2 days before Xmas I saw the s3 on the site for like $200, was something like $138 off the normal price and I had to get it

Well... I started to expand on the high school girlfriend analogy thing, but then thought better of it. :D

edit:
aw what the hell...
She was harder to root and didn't last as long!

I bought a samsung victory about three months ago. It is a nice phone (currently on sale at radio shack for $80), but I keep coming back here to check on things.

My triumph still works fine and if it had 4g I would still be using it as my daily phone.

Me to,
I just got a LG F3 for two reasons. 4G and better battery life. The F3 has the same screen size (almost...4.1 vs 4.0) with more resolution, 2460 battery, smaller and lighter case, and dual core CPU. I haven't test out the GPS, but I don't see how it could be any worse then the MT.

Seems like the best phone in the 4" size with 4G

I'll keep my MT as a back up and for sentimental reasons..

I've still got two MTs going, as I've said before, because that $25 plan can't be beat. With the ICS rom, it isn't bad.

It can be beat. I've been paying average of $44.55 with two phones. It's not much of a savings, but it's still cheaper. And there is the fact that I can refer people and get a $25 credit. It's paid $100 of my past bills.

And I have been using the original Epic. And that has Kit-Kat working, along with every CM version sence at least CM6.

I keep popping in here too- I've subscribed to a few different phone threads on this site, but the MT people have been the best ever.

It's not over g60 and everyone! May be a 99.9% chance of no more ROMs, but the source is there. At least we tried. And I still say we can help people around here, Triumph or no Triumph! I'm still updating my software picks thread. With an AdAway build that behaves better on KitKat.
