Help Juice Defender Settings

I've just installed the free version of Juice Defender on my phone but not sure which settings I need to change. I've left it on the default one, will this be ok or am I better customizing it or using one of the other settings?
I'm a bit of a technophobe so step by step instructions would be good lol.
