Just traded my copy of UFC 2010 for this (Craigslist FTMFW, lol)
I honestly didnt like the changes to career mode for UFC 2010, and having played the original Just Cause for xbox I wanted to get this one and give it a try.
400 miles of island to explore.
Motorcycles, boats, cars/trucks, military vehicles, helicopters, airplanes, hovercrafts, steal and drive/pilot anything.
Free falling then deploying your parachute is bad ass.
Even more bad ass is your grappling hook, shoot it to a passing vehicle and open your parachute for instant parasailing, or zipline to a helicopter to hijack it, or shoot an enemy and pull them off a rooftop to their death, or shoot the enemy with one end and then shoot a passing vehicle with the other and let them get drug off, or pull a Dark Knight and shoot an enemy vehicle and plant the other end into the ground for an abrupt halt
the possibilities are endless.
Gameplay is just sheer fun, shoot, blow shit up, steal a helicopter, shoot down the other helicopters, fly up as high as you can, jump out of the helicopter and free fall/parachute to a different part of the island (once again, 400 miles of exploration).
Dont get me wrong there are some negatives, the story line isnt that great lol, and the thing that bugs me the most is you have to zipline to everything, you cant climb up on ledges you can reach, but the positives IMO outweigh the negatives so vastly and the gameplay is just fun.
If you have 360 i think the demo gives you like 30 miles or so to explore, check it out, I highly recommend it and I havent played it that much yet (gonna try to get to the airport tonight and fly a jet, supposedly you can fly a 737)...
