Joe of Phandroid just published an editorial piece about why he feels the 3.5mm jack is being killed too quickly.
He agrees that wireless solutions are the future, and the trend certainly shows that, but he says the current solution (wireless headphones) haven't matured enough and this change is only going to hurt the customers.
