Root Kingdom Stock Sense 3.0 RLS2 and Messaging

First off, I love this ROM. Wish there was a way to get that lockscreen on froyo. Now on to my problem... I've looked everywhere, but can't seem to figure out how to remove the default messaging app. I installed handcent and sms unread count. When I use the sms unread count widget, it keeps bringing up the stock messaging app. Under manage applications, the "clear defaults" is greyed out for the messaging apps. Any ideas?

Handcent doesn't have its own widget? I'm pretty sure the "sms unread count " widget is hardcoded for the stock app...


I use Chompsms I know that has several widgets you can use with it.
