Root kit Kat vs jellybean battery life

Just a minor note......

I've tried out a few different kit Kat Roms thanks to multi Rom,I don't use my nexus nearly enough so I'm only going by standby time and battery life on KitKat just isn't cutting it!

4 nearly 5 days on validus 6.0 got me down to 20% where a jellybean one I had ages ago and never removed, got me 11 days and only down to around 50%

Any ideas anyone? This is kit Kat Roms with hardly anything installed :-)

I'm finding 4.4.4 worse than 4.4.3 for battery lol! Is that possible? (custom rom/kernel, not stock

Tried changing kernel so I guess it's the rom. I know they totally reworked it for this version plus it's a blind build..

Still to give pa a go, but I've tried a couple 4.4.4 Roms(hadn't really tried any until I realised we could use multi Rom and how easy it was) and on the nexus it's given poor battery, while my s4 has been superb, given me 4 sometimes nearly 5 hrs screen on time, compared to 3-3.5 before :-)

Slim Kat was just as bad as the rest :-(I'll just keep my jellybean one for battery in standby, but KitKat ones for performance ;-)

Im using Sony Xperia c. it has got jelly bean and I want to put kitkat in it. Can anyone tell which custom ROM for kitkat is best to go with??
