Last Ditch!

Any ideas for getting an NEXUS 7 to start.

The battery did go flat so I have tried leaving it to charge for minutes, hours and days, pressing the power and volume keys for hours (literally using elastic bands to try over night) in various combinations.

I have checked the battery connection.

I have taken the battery from another working Nexus 7 device and swapped it (all batteries are charged and working).

Went back round to try the charging for days and power and volume buttons.

Got a docking station and back round the routines above.

Any other ideas before I give up on it (I think I have tried all I can but just in case anyone else has had something else go wrong).

It sounds like you've tried pretty much everything, sorry

Where are you charging it from, Mains or USB?

What about trying another charger/cable combo?

Thanks for the suggestions, tried multiple chargers and USB charging selections, have just bought a nexus with broken screen so will swap bits till I get a working machine.
