Hello I am new here I just wanted to get some advice before purchasing any more parts:
I cracked the front lens on my n7 2012 and decided to replace it myself. I successfully removed the glass but upon testing the LCD was showing really weird lines and sometimes showing picture. I fiddled with it a bit to find that the ribbon cable had come loose from the back.
When I discovered that, I removed the ribbon cable and re-inserted it into the back of the LCD. Since then I cannot get display at all on LCD. n7 does power on as I hear the notifications. Just no LCD, no backlight, nothing.
Should I go ahead and buy a new ribbon cable? is that likely the issue?
