LG G2x Is this same as optimus

I have G2x and i want to know if it is same as optimus
I have upgraded mine to 2.3 which eleiminated some of the problems
hope to learn more here
I am also using and selling 2.2 dualcore tablets

They are nearly the same, apart from some software differences & the T-Mobile branding on the top of the G2X, which is not present on the O2X.

Flashing custom roms will require different roms altogether, because there are different partitioning systems and whatnot on each device.
