Help LG optimus 2x wifi problems

i recently got onto wind and went with the LG optimus 2x. for the past 4 weeks, the wifi has been working fine but a couple days ago it stopped working. it manages to obtain the ip address and everything but when i try to go on youtube or facebook, i get a message saying "there is a problem with your network, touch to retry." the signal strength is strong,the wifi icon is still there,and at settings, it says i am connected to my router(d-link) so i dont know what the problem is.i've tried factory reseting my phone and turning it on and off but the wifi still doesnt work. someone please help!!!!!!!!!

For whatever reason DHCP breaks once in a while. Try configuring your wifi manually. Remember to scroll all the way down in the settings page to put in both DNS servers. At least that's where you'll find it on Gingerbread.

Turn off your wireless router, or do a hard reset on your phone
