lock screen options disabled S3

[Android Question]

in my Samsung S3, the lock screen options are disabled except the password. I thought this is due to an exchange company email which I have installed recently, but after uninstalling the email still I can see the lock screen options disabled.

I checked under security device admin, but there is only one item there for android device manager and its already unchecked. I tried to clear the credentials but also not working, under the trusted credentials (user) nothing is there, for system tab there are many lines which I cant understand

Can you please help me!!! my last option is to reset my mobile but I wanted to see if there is solution before that

Hi

I think you are right about the company email causing this. Has it set up any vpn accounts which remain configured even though you have removed the email account?

wireless&networks
vpn

If so these would cause the lock screen options to be greyed out and need to be deleted.
