Help Locked out of tablet

bigdog00

Newbie
I got locked out of my android tablet after I failed at the pattern. It doesn't have wifi access and won't be able to. USB Debugging is off. It's a generic chinese tablet, and I can't access recovery menu to reset it. I've tried all of the possible combos, but it just ends up turning off a few seconds later. Is there any way I can fix this? Thanks!

Is there a small pin-hole sized hole that you can insert a paperclip into to reset it?
Yeah, you'll lose your apps and stuff, but it's the only option I can think of :o

There is, and I'm perfectly fine with losing all of that stuff, but it just reboots the tablet. I tried holding it for a little more than 30 seconds, but it just turned back on. I wonder if there's something I'm doing wrong...

So after it reboots, the lock screen with a pattern lock come up? Or what appears after reboot?
Or does it shut off again?
What make/model or numbers can you give us to identify it? Perhaps I can search around a bit;)

Basically, it HAD a 5x5 pattern grid, but I didn't remember it. I tried a bunch of them that I thought it could be, and ended up locking myself out. It wants the Google account that my Dad registered it with, but that was years ago. What's worse, it won't be able to connect to the internet because we have a different network name and stuff. Yes, it shows the lockscreen, and says "Press Menu to unlock." It's running Android 1.6. I can't give you much info as it was a generic Chinese tablet, but I can say that it is white, has Vol +, Vol -, Back, Power, Home, and Menu buttons. When you boot it up, it says "Relax V. 2.0.2 by LFD" and lists android version, kernel version, bootloader version, ect. It has no brand, but the model number is "M - 001". It's from 4 or 5 years ago, and any way I can get it up and running would be awesome. Thanks for your help!

Kernel version: 2.6.29
WMT SDK Version: 1.9.1
That's what it says when it first boots up. It has no recovery menu, because I think it's a custom bootloader. It flashes between "Relax V. 2.0.2" and "Android" with the green bot on it, then eventually settles on "Relax V. 2.0.2". I have searched for the relax bootloader and I can't seem to find any info on it.

Well, I googled a bit, and found this pic:
Eken-M001.jpg

Yes, no? I googled "M-001"

Have you Googled how to boot into recovery or If there's a key combination to reset it?
Indeed I have and to no avail. When it boots up, it doesn't show the green android dude, it flashes him, then "Relax ect.", then the android dude again, then "Relax blah blah" and stops. I think it's a custom bootloader, so I dont' know if there's a recovery menu.

How about a key combo that just resets it (grasping at straws here lol)
I've looked for it, but there's nothing. I asked on the Eken website and sent a support email request thing but I don't think there are any key combos that work. As you can see from the picture, the Vol + and Vol - keys are across from each other, so I can't just press Volume up and Volume down, as it presses the Home and Menu buttons.

Eken is most definitely Chinese, HQ is in Hong Kong. Very unlikely a knock-off, Eken is budget devices.

This is a very old 1.6, Donut tablet. Could try contacting Eken's support, see if they still know about it.

It's unlikely it's going to be able to run many modern apps.
