Looking for SMS desktop/Incredible Solution

Forgive me if there is an easy solution out there that I'm just missing...

I basically want an app that will allow me to plug my phone into a usb port and give me some sort of message window where I can send and receive SMSes from my mobile number but on my computer without having to enter them on the phone.

Any ideas?

After seeing your question, I did some quick research and discovered a application called Remote SMS. It looks like it should accomodate your needs.

Not exactly what you're looking for but you can SMS from any internet-connected PC with GV.

I've tried both RemoteSMS Full and EasySMS and believe that EasySMS is far better. I use it daily and have had no problems with it. Once you set up a shortcut on your PC to start adb, its then just a matter of plugging in, opening the app on the phone, double_clicking the shortcut on your PC and youre ready to roll via any web browser. it also has support for WiFi which I personally can not speak to since I havent needed to use it (i'm at my desk all day, plugged in)
