Marketing BS to confuse: Comcast vs Net Neutrality

Annoying Comcast ad brags about their stance on Net Neutrality

the list and it's wording makes it confusing.
things that you want.. with the partnership between Comcast and Time Warner. 4 things we all want with internet access + "net neutrality"

at the top of the list is: "Net Neutrality Protection"

it makes you believe that they are wanting to get that for you.. and protect your right to it.

but it is a trick in my eyes. example:
Fire protection
water protection
virus protection

what does these mean? it means that this product will protect you against these things: fire, water, virus.

so.. this wording "Net Neutrality Protection" will protect you/public/users from net neutrality! keep it away...
but they want to make you think that hey are for Net Neutrality.

even the author of that article is reading it wrong...
it is a very sneaky trick. don't you think?
or am I reading it wrong?

None of the companies want to be regulated as "common carriers"

Most want a fast lane for higher access. For instance, a popular show or site would get priority broadcast speed, but your kid's school might not, or a small help site you use, either.

Since FB has more users, + could lose out during times of high usage. FB would get air priority, and anything else would be booted down line. You'd get it, but at far slower speeds.

Net neutrality is dead. Bow to Comcast and Verizon, your overlords - Los Angeles Times

I sure hope FCC sees the truth. and help to make things better for the public.. not big greedy telcos

but this thread was about the marketing technique and wording used.
showing how under handed they are...

exactly! some will fall for it!

they trying to get that .. steve jobs' reality distortion field working for them
