Marshmellow for the Note 3, ever? :)

I surely must already know the answer is no, but I'll ask anyway. Anyone heard any talk or rumors about whether or not the Note 3 might ever get an official Marshmellow upgrade?

Doesn't look like it. They won't even update to the latest 5.X version. Note 3 is at end of life so support is pretty much gone.

At this juncture,I'm guessing your Note 3 is out of warranty.
Why not breathe some new life into it with rooting & an aftermarket ROM?
Once Marshmallow hits the NOTE4/5,I'm certain someone will port a fully function MM ROM to the NOTE3.

Trying to find one too, but everyone seems to ignore the International Note 3. :(

There's a few Lollipop 5.1.1 custom ROMs on the XDA forums with Note5 functionality, I'm using the Phronesis ROM on my Note3 and it is almost perfect, haven't gotten video recording to work yet on mine but everything else seem really good so far, only flashed it less than a week ago.
Kinda funny that my 2 year old Note3 have never stuff than the Note4 I just got, I really like the screen note on lock screen and S-Pen stuff, that will be coming to the Note4 soon enough as official update so haven't rooted and flashed anything on that yet

Funny enough, another I know that has a T-Mobile branded Note 3 was able to get an update that claims to be Android Marshmallow.

Yet seems like Samsung is all too willing to ignore their unlocked editions.
