Root [Merit] Help. Stock+Root+SDSPace?

Ok..I'm sure this was asked before, I appoligize for that. I did search but found nothing.

I am trying to get my phone "Stock Rom" + "Root" + "SD Internal Memory"

I can't link because I am new, but I can stock my phone because I have a spare to get a recovery from.

I will be using "stayboogy" Root update.zip. (HUGH THANKS!!!!!!!!)

What I would like is after the root...I would like to use the SD Memeroy as Internal.. Like send 2gig to it.

I have tried stock, root, and cwm. But memery don't show. I'm sure it is something to do with the kernal from what I have read. I have also tried to run a "ext3" and "ext4" kernel. After reboots...Nothing...still the same.

I know I might get suggested to use a custom rom. But I would really like to keep it stock, because I get many crashes and error with every rom I have tried. (I'm sure it is something stupid I'm doing. That is why I would like to do it stock because I'm stupid, and it seems it would be more simple)

Partition your SD Card to have an SD-Ext partition. Use Link2SD. There's other ways to do it with init.d scripting, but Link2SD is by far the easiest method.

and no, making your sdcard as internal storage has nothing to do with the kernel

it's possible to make it pseudo-internal by altering the ramdisk (which is not part of the kernel at all), or partitioning it like red mentioned above and using an app or script
