Root [Merit] Net10 Z990G Possibly Bricked...

Hey guys. I've been away for a week without a PC and I needed to reinstall a rom on my phone. I decided to download the rom using the 3G connection on the phone.

Here's what happened, I started the download and put the phone down since it was a large (92MB) download. I came back later and seen that it had finished. I rebooted into recovery, wiped all my userdata, davalik cache, cache. I began to install the .zip file.

The install immediately failed. I rebooted the phone and it showed the splash screen followed by the Kernel splash screen and froze. I left it for a good 10 mins and got no farther. I did a battery pull and booted into recovery mode (which was just fine).

I then downloaded the same file on another phone however this time I watched it and saw that for some reason the link from MediaFire was only downloading a few KBs of the zip file, hence the reason the install failed.

I found a way to get it download the full file and proceeded to do so. I swapped the sd cards so I could access the file and installed via recovery. The install went fine but the phone still wouldn't boot.

I tried several other installs and roms to no avail. It simply hangs everytime. Does anyone know how to get the corrupted rom off for a fresh install?

Alright guys. Nevermind on this one. I was able to use the deoxed stock rom from this forum and set it up as a backup file for the touchnav recovery. It fixed it. :) Now I gots me two of these here phones lol.
