Root [Merit] Rooted Merit sucessfully. Need help with moving programs

Following the guide here I was able to root my wifes Merit sucessfully. Now how do I go about moving apps to the SD card. I attempted to move facebook but it kept giving me errors? Am I missing something?

Well you could use a ROM that has big data for the ext built in or do it with a app like link2SD.

I had to uninstall it then reinstall it and I was able to move it to the SD card. Is there a way to expand my internal memory by sharing it with the SD card somehow?

Yes there is & it is the the easiest way. You have to partition the card ether way & it is add easy to flash a ROM as install a app. You can link you're internal to your SD giving you what ever size you want. I have 2G which is probably more them I'm ever use others tell me they use 4G. You can have 8G or what ever you want. The files are at Androidarea51.com

Excellent! Thanks for the replies guys. I think after my root I was supposed to use the clock work recovery mod to have a recovery for the root. I would like to get this done before partitioning. I cannot seem to find a guide that makes sense to me though. Anyone have a link to one?

Don't be such a hatter man. Let's work together.

It is easier to do it up front & not have to link files every time. It really is nice. Have you tired it? If not I recommend it. I'm kinda stuck in my ways also & it took me a whole to give it a chance but I'm glad I did.

He's stating that downloading an app, Such as Link2SD, requires far less than flashing a ROM or Nandroid for one simple feature. As for AreaRom, I've tried it, I've tested it, and trust me you don't want my opinion on it. Less advertising, More help. ;)
