ima having a feeling it can be the build prop setting but i already posted my setting up in another post could probably be liike someone said some can nd some can't but we will see soon enough

he gave me this method u can try using to put in the camera mod u guys can try it

- download camera hack and rename the apk to Camera.apk
- copy the renamed Camera.apk to your device
- use titanium backup to uninstall stock camera
- use root explorer in R/W mode (upper right corner is the button for this)
- go to /system/app and be sure there is no more apk like Camera.apk
- if so copy the renamed Camera.apk into this dictionary
- reboot device and there will be a new shortcut in appslist

I followed both methods - even cleaned the cash out after uninstalling/before installing your mod.
Still getting can't extract frame

tried this...it didnt work :(

after i did this..every time i plug in my charger and try to text my keyboard goes crazy lol and i have 3 different keyboards any idea?

Interestingly enough, I extracted the apk using Root Explorer, and moved it to /system/app
Didn't delete either of the stock camera apks. The modified camera shows up in the apps list, and as far as I can tell it's working just fine.

I'm using the plague kernel that comes with Black Plague.
As for build.prop edits, what changes did Martin make? I don't see any in OP.

I haven't changed mine, other than some speed things found here and there, but just checked and here's my settings.

ro.media.dec.jpeg.memcap=10000000
ro.media.enc.hprof.vid.bps=10000000
ro.media.enc.jpeg.quality=100

The last 1, vid.fps, isn't in my build prop.

wasnt in mines either but i had added it to the build.prop but was a no go. What kernal is everyone using, im using the kernel that came with 1.9.2.

Yea, using Black Plague rom with the kernel that comes with it.
Don't think it would make a difference but I'm also using the DarkEsteem theme over Black Plague.
