The Verge notes that the Moto X4's hardware is well enough paired with a near-stock Android experience to dub it the spiritual Nexus successor for those not interested in paying premiums for the Pixel line. Their review calls out a weak camera, but it's otherwise a solid phone that should be in line for fast software updates for at least 2 years.
