Help Motorola Triumph Overheating? Getting Annoying

Newbie
I have it overclocked to 1.5ghz with smartass v2 and have CM7 and it feels pretty warm under the battery after about 13 min on web browsing with 3G. Any fixes

Well don't overclock and it wont get so hot.. Any phone gets hot when you push it hard and overclock it. That's a nobrainer. Mine at 1ghz gets up in the high 90s sometimes during hot days. Its not that big a deal it usually runs around 86 to 89 degrees.

And you'll have to leave virgin to get a better phone than this.

This post is funny. Anyways give me your Triumph before you smash it.
Better yet swap before breaking crappy build ones *looks at first batch phones*

OP: The phone gets hot from these factors:
  1. Running Data and with use(3G)
  2. Overclocking the phone
  3. High Brightness
  4. Running GPS with Navigation running in the background (when USB charge can't charge)
  5. Rigorious Governors (Performance, Max/Min?)
  6. And having the phone plugged in the AC charger on a fabric surface or similar.

EDIT: For fixes, Interactive Governor is nice to save power. The phone runs games well on 1.4GHz, it does not need to push more than that. Keep the settings low or off and adjust to them (Brightness/Data/GPS). I use Juice Defender and sorta keeps power wise but that's another thread.
