i am needing help syncing my outlook calendar to my htc evo. i use htc sync, and i selected calendar, but all of my info that is on my outlook calendar on my computer, doesnt sync with my phone calendar, or at least i think it doesnt. do i have a setting wrong? can anyone help? thanks
 
The best way is to export the Outlook calendar and contacts to a file and then import them into the Google calendar and contacts area.

There are various programs that claim to directly sync Outlook with Google but I've tried them all and none are seamless. After one year of Android in the market, I'm shocked that no one has been able to provide an easy sync method. At present, I enter all the data in both areas and just sync with Google.

Sorry that the answer isn't easy.
 
I just solved this issue this afternoon with the use of gSyncit. It cost me $14.99 for the registration key and it works seamlessly for me. I am syncing my contacts and calendar from Outlook.

gSyncit becomes part of your Outlook functions and you set up the rules on how you want it to work. I am not using it for emails.

I have it set up to sync from Outlook to Gmail but not vice versa. This way my business stuff originates in Outlook on my laptop and then rolls on to my smartphone wirelessly thru Gmail.

Back up your Outlook pst just in case. Download the software on your laptop, get registration key and pay in the process, go carefully through the options to set up the sync rules, and sync away.

I spent the last week reading and searching and this particular solution was best for me. My Outlook functions stand alone ( I am not on an enterprise server ).
