Music at work?

I want to either play MP3's or stream internet radio through my nexus while at work. It's a VERY noisy environment and would like to set up a cheap system that would boost the loudness of the music although I am not too bothered about the sound quality.
If I was to purchase something like this...Hi-Fi 2.1CH Stereo Audio Amplifier AMP Super Bass HX-168A with AC Power Adapter | eBay

and then hook up a couple of speakers or car speakers, would it be any good?

300 Watts of bass at work? It would be great. When's your next job starting? (It would be great at getting you fired on the spot and possibly arrested.)

Its no problem honestly but I can't believe this little unit could deliver so much power. I think it states RMS : 2 x 30W + 35W @ 4ohm

Ah, that seems a little more believable. 35W @ 4ohm is not bad for a little device. 4 ohm speakers tend to be car speakers though. Not that normal stereo speakers wouldn't work, they just wouldn't be as loud.

All set up at work and its actually not too bad. A little bassy but works well through my Nexus using internet radio.
