Music Audio Razr M

Hi, droid fan here. Am touching base while I consider what phone to get next week. While I would love to wait for the HTC One, it looks like that is a long way off. I am thinking about the Razr M. Why? because it is small. My current Droid X2 is way too big, and I want a pocketable phone. My only hesitation is a few things I have read regarding the sound quality when you plug the Razr M into headphones or other music playing devices. I listen to a lot of music with my phone. Do other people have any experience with this phone? It doesn't have to be Beats or anything, just comparable to the phone I bought a couple years ago. Any thoughts?

Thanks for maintaining this place so people like me can try to find someone to discuss this with.

I had a few HTC phones, and hated them all ( screen quality, over heating, bad battery life, poor signal. ) and I also feel that the Beets audio thing is a bit of a scam. this is my opinion... I know that you can install the beets audio driver on any phone, ( available from google play) and some people claim it makes a difference.

My opinion is that the beets audio just makes music "1-louder" ( but this one goes up to eleven... lol)

as for a music play, I use Power Amp, it is very customizable and has a great EQ built in. I actually removed the Google music player.

I kmow the razr m dosn't have beats. I already use power amp and would get it again. I am just trying to make sure there are no particular problems with razr m's audio that I should know about. Guessing since I am not getting many responses that this isn't a major problem with Razr M.

They are about the same size. I had a DX. The M is a bit thinner. After you put a case on it.....same size.
MUCH FASTER though :)

Music? I don't mess with it at all. In fact I don't even think I've put head phones in it. :)

When I picked it up, if felt WAY smaller in my hand than my current phone. I had no idea verizon had any small phones, and was pretty bummed that most stuff is actually bigger than my current phone.

Music. I listen a lot. Which is one reason I would never get a DNA, I needs my sd card. :smokingsomb:

Just a thought, does anyone know of any sites or forums geared toward reviewing or discussing phones and their music playing capabilities? I listen to music way more often than I take photos.
