Help My Galaxy Rush has no sound??

Okay so, one morning in September, my phones speakers didnt work. My phone has been through alot, so it dosent have warranty. I tried recovery mode but the volume buttons dont work. My phone is really slow too.

What all has happened to your phone?
When you say "been through a lot" I have images of your phone being dropped, thrown, tossed in water......ect

Backup your data and then try a factory reset.
