My Incredible saved my life.....

I suffer from sever asthma attacks. I only have one car and it was being used on the 15th about 930am. An attack came on that my controller meds and emergency meds couldn't get under control. My ears started ringing and I knew I was in alot of trouble. I know one close enough 5 minutes or less to get me to the hosp. I would not make it. Hers the other problem I passed the time you can still speak. So grabbing my cell I went to the locked screen hit emergency call called 911. I was able to get what was wrong out of me and some of the address before I woke a day half later in the hospital out of a induced coma. My phone had gps on it and I had the emergency tone on . In my dead hands yes they had to pry my cell phone and case literally out of my hands found the case in two pieces on the floor. 911 was able to get my address and my phone brought the paramedics to where I had collapsed and in that short window before death got me to the hosp in time. If I didn't have it they would have never have found me in time. Thank you cell phone. BTW phone was on sleep standby for four days. fearing I torched the battery letting it go totally dead low behold I turn it on and it was at 51 percent.

just thought Id share a real story about how tech saved me

Awesome to hear tech actually did something good for someone. Glad you were here to post the story!

WOW! I was pulling for ya in the story. Then it dawned on me... YOU'RE telling it! Duh! (I'm not that slow, but today my mind is wandering aimlessly).

Glad you are here to relay your "Incredible" (Pun intended) story!

Im still feeling the effect of indcued sedation for the intubation on the medication 4 days later this is the stuff they gave michael jackson to sleep with... yes im glad as well. its been a really long time and advanced directive was discussed with spouse...

Incredible story! I have asthma as well but believe it has passed me a few years ago since I don't even use my meds anymore. And I agree with investing in an extended battery as well.

Wow glad your OK and things worked out. I too have asthma, since I was a baby and know how bad things can get suddenly. My old LG Voyager wouldn't have done that for me. I pray for your continued recovery.

Ah... government spying/intrusion/tracking WORKS!!!! Glad to hear you made it, it wasn't your time... good luck God Bless

Why in your OP does it have a sad face? You did want to be saved correct? I hope so, keep on keepin on buddy.

I think his Inc ended up in two pieces- that why? Thank heaven he was not using Tmo  Seriously. Many "no service" areas where I live.

Great story dude, glad you're alive and well now!

...And here I was thinking I was so great for using mine for porn.

no the phone is fine its the case that fell part when they pryed it out of my hands. sad Face was just well something good didn't happen other than I made it. you know its creepy when you in the hosp and they come to move you and you move yourself. and they OMG he moved himself. And nurse says well sometimes they make a miraculous recovery. Whats strange I heard everything even while under. I couldn't respond but I heard it.

I bought an app called ICE (ICE: In Case of Emergency - Android app on AppBrain)

I added to my screen lock. In it you list medications, emergency contacts, doctors, insurance, prescription numbers and so on and so forth. You can make all calls directly from the phone.

I have generalized epilepsy and it is mainly to put my friends at ease. Few have them have witnessed my seizures but they are all scared that one day they will have to. Now, they can pick up my phone and have all the necessary info in the event I don't come to after a minute or so.

Definitely glad to hear the Incredible is,well, Incredible! Amazing story bro! Glad it had a happy ending!

Oh wow! I have moderate asthma but the attacks were worse when I was younger, only once putting me in the hospital.
I think if I was in your situation now, I'd have a panic attack along with it and pass out quicker.
Glad your safe and I applaud your quick thinking.
