I've had the Motion for about 2 years, maybe a little more, and it finally died on me today. It starting acting weird, force closing everything, boot looping, the whole 9 yards. It's been dropped maybe up to 10 times over the 2 years but not hard drops, but I guess the soft drop yesterday might of did it in. I was going to try to flash it but now it won't even turn on after trying everything, so I took out my SIM, and SD Card and beat the hell out of it outside
What I loved most was the 4.5GB of internal space available to the user. Only the high end phones from Metro right now have that much internal space. Everything else is 1.2GB which makes the move to a new phone even harder for me. The LG Motion was hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST cell phone I've ever owned, and I'll surely miss it.
Currently, MetroPCS has 3 4G phones for $29 after MIB, and the Nokia Lumia 529 being the best with its 4.7GB of internal storage available to the user, but I'm not fond of the idea of moving to a Windows based phone so I went with the Alcatel ONE TOUCH Fierce as it has 2.4GB available to the user, and I can live with that for now. The screen is also a inch bigger than the Motion. However, the video is 720P instead of 1080P the Motion had, but that's not that big a of a deal.
Anyway, It was great being part of this section of the forums for the past couple years, and I'll miss you guys.
You know where to find me
