Help my mini won't start up

I've galaxy mini running gingerbread and I noticed recently that when I turn my device off and try to start it back on it does not start. It does not even start in recovery mode. It only starts when I plug in the power charger.
what's wrong w/ my device? !

how long does the battery without power charger?
and how long you are holding the power button before power on?

exact same problem here....

The battery hold without power charger 2 - 3 days
I hold the powerbutton a few seconds and then the "low battery" screen appears.

Any ideas?
