My Nexus 7 takes between 4 & 5 minutes to boot up and I have no idea which app I've got for it to take this long. I've got 2 bootup apps installed but they don't speed it up or help atall.
What are the "2 bootup apps" that you mentioned? Also, how long have you been noticing the slow boot - is this something that came on all-of-a-sudden, or has it gradually been getting slower?
As BRAINZ hinted at, one of the most common causes of a slow boot is just a large collection of apps. More apps installed means more apps being indexed/loaded at boot, which means a slower boot.
You could try rebooting into Safe Mode to make sure that it's an application-related issue: Press and hold the Power button to get to the "Power Off" prompt. Long-press the Power Off option and you'll be prompted to reboot into Safe Mode. Confirm that choice and let it reboot. If it boots significantly quicker, you know it's probably just a bunch of apps slowing it down.
