Hello, I have done a lot of reading and found that all the IMEI data is stored on the phone's drive, which is attached to the motherboard.
If I swap out a motherboard from a N4 with a good IMEI (and cracked screen) into another N4 with a good screen, should the phone work alright? I know the serial number will not match the case, but that's alright. I'm wondering if anyone has actually done this?
I know I can swap the screen, but it seems to be a longer process, you have to heat up the phone, etc.
