Root Need To Return From Velocity Back to Stock

Well gents and women,

Looks like my LG Ally days are over with. I switched to iPhone and using Straight Talk after finding out how much T-Mobile coverage area sucks. Anyways, I need to restore my LG Ally back to the factory image, so I can see to BB/DealTree and get some money back. I really enjoyed velocity, but I can't leave it on there.

I have done some searching and Googling for the stock rom both here on these forums and on the web, and cannot find any working links left to the stock rom image. Can you please post a working link to the stock image, so I can restore it back to factory???
 
Tried the V8 backup I had = epic fail!!! and the boot loop of DOOM!!!

Ok clockwork recovery worked and reflashed Velocity 2.2.2 rom and its booting again. I know how to flash ROM images using the Clockwork recovery method, but I can't figure out for the life of me how to restore the stock image.

If the v8 doesn't work, then does anyone have a backup of the stock 2.2.2 rom that I could use???

Not to hi-jack your thread, but where did you get a copy of the velocity 2.2.2 release? None of the links I've used have worked.
