net 10 LG L45C (optimus) - rooting, custom startup logo/sound?

ok so i have the net 10 optimus ($80 at best buy) and the model says LG L45C on the back. i could not find that anywhere in the list of 20 other optimus phones

anyways, i was wanting to change the carrier logo on startup as well as the sound (and the same for turning the phone off)

is this possible?

if so, any guides on doing this? I would like to have a WORKING phone so a way to backup the current ROM would be good too.
