I just bought my new Droid today and trying to figure out how everything works. I appreciate all tips and tricks of this new machine that other owners are willing to share.

Lets all add our ideas on what anyone should do on their first day. Here's some of my suggestions David Letterman style:

5. Setup your e-mail so you can easily check it during the day
4. Setup your twitter, facebook and flickr connections so it notifies you when anything new and interesting is posted.
3. Add any other friends/family with Android to your friends list in Google Maps so you can find each other when you need to.
2. If you are a podcast listener - download Listen from the Market and experience direct and always on podcasts.
1. Call your iPhone friends and gloat - of course they won't get it
