New Droid Owner

I've tried several phones and when I got my BB Curve I thought I would never find a better phone. I swore never to buy anything, but BB. The only reason I decided to try the Droid is because I'm a fan of open source. I actually run Ubuntu on my laptop. I have to admit that I love this phone. If you put the time and effort into learning how to use this phone it will WOW you every time. I also, love this form. Coming from Crackberry I was glad to see a forum like this. Welcome to DROIDnation. You are experiencing what a lot of DROID owners have learned. I think a lot of the negative initial reviews were a result of a bit of a learning curve for Android. I think people got use to the simple interface of the iPhone and the BB has basically been around for a long time without a lot of change. Really, if you're going to create a phone with more features, you're going to have to expand the phone's ways of getting to things. Enjoy the forum because you'll learn a lot about what more droid phones can do!
