Help New phone, old sim, no contacts

Hi guys! I just got a second hand galaxy S 4G today and have unlocked it. It used to run on T-mobile but that service provider does not exist where I live (the Philippines) so I switched the sim card with the one I have been using for years. The problem now is that I cannot see the contacts on my sim card even though I'm sure I saved them there- you see I used to own a Nokia(really old one) and I moved my contacts from phone to sim but I can't see them in the Galaxy s 4g. Any suggestions?

ok. I fixed it by getting my old phone and moving the sim contacts back to phone and then back again. When I insterted the sim to hte galaxy s 4g, all my contacts were there =D. To anyone who has the same problem, try doing what I did.
