ASUS - Mobile- ASUS PadFone has updated pics of the PadFone, and they're pretty slick. Here are some things I've noticed:
- capacitive buttons below the screen are gone in favor of ICS-standard soft buttons (back, home, app switcher) below the dock
- the profile is really nice, looks to taper off a bit towards the bottom (when viewed from the side)
- bottom has a slick, beveled appearance
- top and sides look similar to the iPhone 4 (polished metal sides, top edge is more squared-off)
- back appears to be textured but it's hard to tell if they are actually raised ridges (there is a close-up on the site and they are actual ridges but not deep)
- the Station has been tweaked as well, the back side has been cleaned up and looks good
- separate volume up/down buttons on the right edge
- headphone jack in the center of the top edge
- power button along the top edge on the right

Plus here's something cool about the sylus that I had not heard before: "The PadFone Stylus Headset even comes with its own alert system, where the PadFone and PadFone Station vibrate and beep to let you know when the Stylus Headset has been left behind!"
