New to forum need help with livewallpaper plz

Hello to everyone here in the forum, u guys do a great job thnx. However I do have a noob question to ask, do I need to have my sd card installed in laptop prior to adding livewallpapers rom or whatever its called to my phone from my laptop? I'm very new to trying to mod my phone and any help is appreciated thnx in advance.

if you mean 'physically' put your SD card into your laptop then NO... there is never a time when you need to do this .... unless you have damaged your card or something........ but in normal use there is never a time

the SD card needs to be installed in the phone........ the phone needs to be set to disk drive mode......... set USB debugging to ON......... use USB to connect phone to computer.......... use your file browser (if on windows use Run>Explorer) to move the files from your computer to the phone...... place them in the root directory ............ then flash
