Root Newb question about rooting and service.

OK, Im new to the whole smart phone thing. It took this long to pry me off the keyboard.

Main reason for the root on my Rush is for the bloatware from sprint/boost.

So I got two questions. What happens when the phone is rooted regarding sprint boost? Nothing? CIA comes and gets me? Dog dies? I mean I have searched awhile, and either I am really unlucky or this question is so obvious to everyone else but me that it never gets asked.

Second, If my dog doesnt die, will I have the capability of using the Rush phone on another carrier? Like Net 10 or Straighttalk?

(If this should be in the carriers sections then please move it, I put it in here because it was really based towards basic carrier questions regarding rooted phones. If I did wrong, sorry).

Sorry about this completely lame question, but I dont want to waste time reading up on root procedures for this phone and getting informed if I am going to have problems with the carriers.

Thanks for any help.

Are you serious ROFL!! I'll stop here lol :p

I know, I know,

But seriously, none of the guides actually address my question. But I didnt think of the correct way to ask it,

What I am trying to find out is,

Will the carriers be able to tell that the phone is rooted? I have found that I would have to have certiant numbers for different carriers. That answers half the question.

I did look through the guide again, and found that rooting and unlocking are two different things, which I had read but apparently forgotton about. In any case, I know I have to get the number for the carrier. Which for now will be sprint.

I completely understand all the other things about the rooting process enough to be sucessfull at that end. I just wanted a little more info on the carrier aspect of it, in regards to rooting. I know they dont like it, but is it possible for sprint to block the phone after its rooted is what I was wondering. However I dont think they can.
