Help Nexus 7 3G 2012 OTA update to 5. 1. 1

It is now several months since those bastards at Google ruined by machine with their Lollipop upgrade - (the word upgrade is a joke) -

What I want to know is when 5. 1. 1 will be available OTA.

Failing this does anyone know of legal action taken against Google for this travesty?
 
My son's got it a week or two ago. Since he is rooted I had to install it via WUGs, but I got the OTA download.
 
This just underlines how ridiculous the situation with the Nexus is....they give no explanation as to what is going on yet they have ruined a machine I gave good money for...... with this fragmented approach to updates they mnage to confuse the issue enough to avoid any real problems for themselves.
Imagine if they were a car manufacturer - do you think they would get away with this kind of crap!?!?!?!
 
Dare I try this upgrade since none of the other Lollipop upgrades worked well on my nexus??
 
It seems that those 2 faced bastards at Google have abandoned the Nexus 7 3G... You would have dared to hope that at least they"d have had the decency to tell us.
