Help Nexus 7 turned off, won't turn on

Hey guys, hope you can help. I've browsed the forums for my problem and no solution has worked.

I was watching a video on my tablet, which was running sluggish. The video was jittery and made the tablet respond slowly. Eventually, while the video was playing, it just froze altogether. I hit the power button to shut the screen off... And it hasn't come back on since.

I've tried holding the power button for well over a minute. I've tried holding both the power and volume buttons. The tablet was at a full charge when it froze, so that's not an issue, but regardless I tried holding the button both connected to a charger and not connected, and tried it both after leaving it on, then off a charger all day.

Any thoughts? I'd really appreciate some help.

Mine just did the same exact thing. I did all of the usual and unusual button combos - I also took the back off, checked the battery connection, checked the battery voltage, etc. No go. I talked to google support and they told me to call Asus.
