Root nexus s 4g voicemail won't work

I have rooted nexus s 4g and just installed cynogen 7 rom. everything but the voicemail seems to be working, I get an error message when i hold the 1 down to listen to voicemails.

can anyone help?

The CM7 dialer is not hardcoded for 1 to be a speed dial for vm if i remember right. They did this so you could set your own. Been a while since i used speed dial numbers what i do instead is create a direct dial and put in on a home screen.

If you go to the phone dialer and press the menu button, you'll get the phone settings.

All you probably need to do at this point is change your voicemail settings. It likely has *86 or whatever. Just change that to your cell number.
