Help No audio on incoming or outgoing calls

If anybody has an idea of what is going on, please help. When I make a call or get a call, there is no audio coming through so I cannot hear the person at all. I have not found anything in the settings that works to change this. Also during the call there I am unable to click on speaker and when I hit the menu button during a call, the speaker option is grayed out. I can hear voicemail and music fine (media vol turned up). Any ideas because I'm desperate?
 
I noticed you posted this in the rooted section. Is this happening on a certain rom? I would suggest going to stock rooted DJ07 and testing before flashing a rom

If you have no idea what I'm talking about then download the latest software update from Sprint or take your phone to them. Backup everything first.
 
The only time I've ever experienced something similar was when the headset switch broke in my old HTC 6700. If you've been using a headset recently, plugging it in and removing it may free up a stuck switch. Barring that, it might be time to try a hard reset.

menu > settings > sd and phone storage > factory data reset

This will wipe the phone memory clean. If that doesn't work, it's probably a hardware failure requiring a trip to a Sprint repair center. Good luck.

Since this doesn't seem to be root related, I'm moving this to the main section in the hope you may get more advice.
