Root No external storage available

I am running into a issue. After I installed a 64GB SDXC card into my ZMAX I am getting a error when I try to use Gallery. It says No external storage available. Any thoughts on fixing this?

According to the information, on their website, its limited to 32GB. Try a different card.

It works and all, I can read and write to the card. Gallery just doesn't see it.

Ok update. I did reformat the card right after I started this post, and the phone stabilized. When I went to bed I plugged it in and left it be. When I woke up the card was completely blank. So I dropped a 32GB card in it.
