No ICS for G2X

Not surprising I mean it was the only the first dual core phone and I don't think Gingerbreaf has Bern released yet

The ETA on the first nightlies is 3-4 months after the source code is out, so there's a little waiting to come - for the first nightly, which is likely to have a lot of bugs. I'll probably start flashing nightlies after they've been out for a few weeks to fix the initial major flaws that get reported

Nah the ETA given is for the stable I reckon, they had GB nightly builds out pretty quickly after the source drop.

Wow when my contract is up I think ill be going with maybe Samsung or a brand which is easy to root and flash.

By the time my contract is up I think there will be phones that will actually be as big as tablets and such... long way to go

I updated my brothers G2X to gb and he hasn't had any problems.

You do realize that this is the O2X forum, not the G2X one? I originally found it hard to believe the Facebook response in the article above as it was from LG India...

It seems LG haven't quite given up on ICS for our O2X's as they quickly removed the original Facebook reply and then got in touch with the guys at Android and Me...

No matter what LG decide, we'll still see ICS on our O2X's in form or other...
