Root no longer receiving SMS delivery reports

I have always gotten delivery reports for my sent texts (the little envelope next to the sent messages in the thread) Ever since i flashed Virtuous 3.2 i have stopped getting the little envelope symbol, even though i have "delivery reports" checked in the settings for the HTC messaging app. i use an app called SMS Backup and Restore. i backed up all my texts before flashing the ROM. after i flashed, i restored all my texts and all the ones i sent still had the envelope next to them, but not all the texts i sent thereafter. i suppose it isn't big of a deal but i would prefer to have the envelope icons.
