I'm having a dilemma. On Thursday morning my phone told me there was a new update, so I was happy, because I've been waiting for one for a few months now.
So I update it, and it restarts my phone as usual. I have no service after it restarts and gives me access back, which is normal after an update.
After a while I checked my phone to look up what the update contained, and I still didn't have any service. So obviously was pretty angry. I knew I was in a 4G zone and my phone shouldn't have taken so long to detect it. I let a few hours slip by. My phone battery has been decaying severely recently so I went to plug it in, and STILL NO SERVICE. I got to school where I knew I could use WiFi. That wasn't detected. So I was furious. I didn't want a galaxy player when I had played for a smartphone. So I screwed with the setting and switched my network mode from LTE/CDMA to CDMA. All of a sudden my phone got service! But only 3G, and i could get wifi. I felt a little better, but I wanted the 4G I paid for. So its Friday night now, I've trued switching the mode back but no dice, and after looking at many sites, no one seems to be experiencing this problem. Usually when I have a problem, more people do as well.
