Root No mobile network when installing CM10 Jellybean 4.1.

Using this page as a guide (CyanogenMod 10 (CM10) for Samsung Captivate i897. Upgrade to Jelly Bean Android 4.1.

I install the corn kernel on 2.3.5 to get CWM and then install the newest devil kernel from the above page and then his CM10 rom. I reboot and the rom loads with everything working fine, but the mobile data and phone don't work. The problem is that no one on XDA seems to have that problem. I've tried several different kernels. I tried using APN restore, but 4.1 doesn't allow third party apps to restore APN settings (and Titanium backup can't make APN Restore & Backup a system app).

Has anyone else had this problem?

Never heard of this problem.... I would reflash... Usually if it's not a bug a hardware issue a reflash fixes things.

I've probably reflashed about 10 times now trying out different releases of the same kernel and different tweaks within the flashing process and still have the error. And I know it's not a hardware issues because I've flashed back to the stock 2.1, 2.2, and the 2.3.5 rom and all have had work data connections.

Yesterday I paid someone to root/ flash my Captivate to JB 4.1, and she had the same problem. Spent 7 hours at McDonalds (wifi) and never got resolved. No idea what all she tried, but had to revert back to 2.3.5.
It sucks because I was SO excited to get JB!

That's strange.. Although each captivate is different, they all have a unique character ran Ics and jb no problems at all... But like I said each phone is different.
