Root No Root access ,Please help HTC INSPIRE 4G

We prolly need a lil more info. What steps did the aahksuccessfully complete?

Did you have any errors when doing the steps in the guide?

Assuming it got far enuff to change the main version, you can prolly run the ruu for 2.47.502.7 and get your phone booting.

if you want, you can giive us some more info by doing the following(you should have dont the first couple steps with the linked guide):
first download and install these drivers: revolutionary drivers

then,download this small file:
mini-adb.zip

-unzip it,and place the unzipped folder onto the root of your C drive(not inside a folder)

-open a cmd window(with win 7,click start bubble, type "command" or "cmd" in hte search box)

-now change to your mini-adb directory(assuming you didnt chagne the name). type in the black cmd window that opened on your PC:
cd c:\mini-adb

-pull the battery in your phone for a few seconds. hold volume down, then power. hold them both until you see the white/colored writing hboot screen

-select "fastboot" from the hboot menu with the vol rocker/power button

-in your cmd window type:
fastboot devices

it should output your phones serial number. if so youre good to go. if not, youre apparently having a driver issue. i usually recomend these drivers from Revolutionary: modified htc drivers download and install the drivers(you should just have to run that file). afterwards, unplug your phone, plug it back in. make sure its in fastboot. as soon as you get a result from "fastboot devices" your ready to procede to the next step.

-in your cmd window, type(or copy/paste,is much easier):
fastboot getvar all

-copy the info that outputs here. right click in your cmd window, click mark, highlight it all in white. hit enter. paste the info here.

because your main version has successfully been lowered, you can run literally any ruu thats compatible with your CID. if the aahk has also successfully created a gold card, you can run litterally any ruu.

do you have any idea if your phone shipped with froyo? if youve had it a couple years, than it prolly did.

this ruu would definately be safe to run.wich would get you back to a working phone: Shipped ROMs

if youre pretty sure your phone shipped with froyo, you can try this one:
Shipped ROMs wich will only work if aahk has successfully created a gold card. this one would be a lil better as far as being rooted is concerned,as it is an exploitable firmware, wich will save a step when the aahk is run again. :)

What did you do that changed it from the other output above?

I'm able to instaal prerooted rom on my inspire 4g but still S-on.
This is the rom link which i flashed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1829413

I used following steps-
unlock with htcdev
flash the aahk boot image
temporarily boot recovery

in temporary recovery i install zip file .
Root achieved but not S-off.
First,I'm glad installing the zipfile got you up and running. :)

To get s off,You'll need to run the aahk again. Folks seem to have a lot less trouble running it on linux,or on a Mac. If you're on windows, you might consider making an ubuntu live cd to run it from. Also, make sure you have read the effin manual several times :)

THIS I GET WHEN USING AAHK IN FROYO ROM (2.2.1)
