Hello guys.
I've been having this problem for over a year now. My phone doesn't notify me on, lets say, every fifth SMS. The SMS comes, it sits in the messaging app (native, handcent, chomp etc., I've tried them all), but the phone doesn't display a notification nor does it ring. It just plays dead and when I open the SMS app - whoa, there's a new message waiting for me.
Now, the unbelievebaly irritating thing is that this happens ONLY on custom ROMs. On original Cupcake and Donut it works fine. The phone rings and notifications appear. On 1.6.3.4 Galaxo, Gaosp Froyo and Gingerbread, the same thing is happening which makes the whole idea of an SMS useless. I get an SMS and it sits in the phone without me knowing.
And the funny thing is that I've never read that anybody had a similar problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
