GOT MY F6 GOOD, ROOTED THE THING BETTER, CUSTOM ROM EXPERON BETTER THAN BEFORE, SHOULD HAVE LEFT WELL ENOUGH ALONE. NO NOT ME TRY TO UPGRADE TO LOLLIPOP AND DEATH TO F6 I KILLED IT OR AT LEAST REALLY WANT TO A THIS POINT SO WHERE IT STANDS THE PHONE DOES NOT TURN ON WHEN PLUGGED INTO PC IT SHOWS AS QUALCOMM QDLOADER 9008 OR SOMETHING SIMILAR AS THIS POINT IM FRUSTRATED AND BOUGHT A NEW PHONE NUT I WANT MY PHONE AND I AM ASKING EVERY OUT THERE WHO MIGHT TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS TO SEND IDEAS BECAUSE IVE TRYED NOTHING AND IM ALL OUT. SERIOUSLY I JUST NEED A KNIGHT IN SHINNING ARMOUR TO COME IN AND SAVE THE DAY. Take off battery and put it back long press up n down volume insert usb cable connected from computer Now if you get to Download.mode you are good to go ...

(Obviously, choose F6/MSM8930 instead of G2)

The required .TOT file for the F6 is a bit tricky to get. It's possible to extract an older version from MS50010e_03.kdz (metro pcs version, link is in the post referenced by Krlypumaa; there's probably an equivalent t-mobile version). It's been a while and I don't remember how to do it exactly, but it involves converting the .KDZ file to .BIN or something first. If you get to that step and really need to know, I can look it up or figure it out again. Good luck.
